Annual Fete

Village Fete Day and Scarecrow Competition will be taking place in July this year. Fete Day will be on Saturday 13^th July between 11am-3pm with the Scarecrows being displayed around the village from Wednesday 10^th July to Wednesday 17^th July.

The committee has already had the first meeting to discuss ideas for the day with plans in place for some stalls and events. As we are a small committee we’d always welcome new people to join, if you can spare a little of your time and ideas please come along to our next meeting. Contact me for details.

For this year we are having an open theme for the Scarecrows. To start you off with some ideas think about what is happening this year. Could be the Olympics, the country where it is taking place or even making scarecrows out of plant pots. Entry will be £3 which can be dropped off with me along with your details so I can add you to the map. Winners will be announced on Fete Day.

Fete Day wouldn’t be complete without the Bottle stall so please donate any bottles you can which can be dropped off with me.
