Lawson Hut

The Lawson Hut was built and gifted to the Village in 1921 in memory of Parish Warden Mr. William Lawson.  Originally a first world war army hut, it is now a completely refurbished community centrepiece, managed by a hard working group of volunteers.

The Lawson Hut holds a wide range of activities most days of the week and is available to hire on a regular or one-off basis for clubs, groups, children’s parties, wedding receptions, meetings, etc.  In addition we have a first class table tennis table for hire by the “session”.

The Hut has all the facilities for your party, meeting, club, or other activity.  Facilities include fitted kitchen, heating, disabled access and toilet, tables and seating for 60 people, projector, screen and sound system, garden area for bouncy castles and a separate bar area. Roadside parking is free right outside.
