Welcome to Badsworth

A thousand years in the making

A hidden Gem

A small village on the edge of the Went Valley, close to the borders of West and South Yorkshire.

A Domesday Village

Badsworth can be traced back to the 11th century.  It has links to the English Civil War, nearby Nostell Priory and the Badsworth Hunt.

Still young at heart

Badsworth might be over a thousand years old, but it is still a vibrant community with lots going on.
